the list of Cambridge Certifications that they offered in the area, since 2008.
WHAT IS CELTA?
CELTA (Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) is an introductory course aimed to candidates with little experience or no formal training for teaching.
It is validated by Cambridge Assessment English, from the University of Cambridge, the main organization that awards English Language Certificates.
The CELTA Certificate is recognized worldwide and it is one of the most valuable and prestigious certificates, in the TEFL field.
This practical teacher training course will help you get your hands dirty and give you many
competence skills to teach English, such as
- Grounding in teaching
- Classroom management skills
- Communicative methodology
- Necessary techniques

Course Content
This is an intensive course, where you will be
supported by our tutors and will become an expert English teacher to adults.
Our course has a very practical structure, which comprehends
- Language analysis and awareness of form, meaning, pronunciation
- Developing teaching skills in the classroom
- Techniques for presenting and practising new language
- Techniques for the development of speaking, listening, reading and writing
- Using teaching aids
Couse Assessment
The course is divided into two main components.
- Component 1: Planning and Teaching
This first component revolves around practice teaching. In fact, candidates will have to work with adult learners and teach-practice for six assessed hours, at a minimum of two levels. After completing this component, candidates will be able to successfully fulfill all the teaching practice assessment criteria.
- Component 2: Classroom-related written assignments
Candidates will be required to complete written assignments (around 750 and 1000 words), covering these topics
- adult learners and learning contexts
- an aspect of the language system of English
- an aspect of language skill
- reflection on classroom teaching and the identification of action points
Entry Requirements
In order to apply for this course, you must follow these criteria
- Be 18 years-old or older
- Have a good standard education (high school diploma)
- Have English CEFR level good C1 or C2 / IELTS 7.5 / Cambridge C1 Advanced (CAE) – pass B (Cambridge English Scale minimum score of 193)
After our tutors will review your applications, the selection process will be structured into two parts
- Written task – you will complete an assignment on language awareness and other issues, relating to teaching English. In this way, our tutors will first-handedly see if you have the potential to nurture your language skills and competences.
- Interview – As the last step, you will be invited for a short interview, to discuss your case.
PRO TIPS: We advise our candidates to not take other commitments, in order to attend our intensive courses without any creases.
FULL-TIME CELTA
Full-time face-to-face courses will be from 4th to 29th of July, September 2022
Our intensive courses will give you a full immersion into the subject. The course will last for 4 weeks (5 days per week) from 100:00 AM to 5:30 PM.
During the morning lessons, you will be able to follow many workshops on different subjects, revolving the English language and teaching techniques.
In the afternoon, you will have the chance to practice what you learned, by teaching to real students. You will be given useful tips and feedback from our tutors and your colleagues, so that you could improve your skills.
PART-TIME CELTA
Part-time face-to-face courses will be on October 2022 – March 2023
Even part-time courses will offer you the full experience of CELTA. The course will last 20-22 weeks and it will require an attendance of 120 contact hours minimum. Lessons will usually be held every Monday from 10:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
COURSE FEES
Our course options (both part-time and full-time) will both costs € 1.850,00. The price includes all the courses elements, materials and Cambridge fees.

Per iscriversi all’esame è sufficiente compilare il modulo online, cliccando sul “Sì” relativo alla data d’esame scelta.
Ricordiamo che possono essere organizzate sessioni d’esame al raggiungimento di un numero minimo di iscritti pari a 4.
Dipende. Il più delle volte, la parte di speaking si tiene in una giornata diversa dalla data dello scritto.
Sulla conferma d’iscrizione che riceverete, sono indicati i giorni esatti.
La data dello scritto non può mai essere modificata. Se per gravi problemi non potete presentarvi alla data prevista per lo speaking, potete contattare immediatamente il centro. Non sempre è possibile modificare la data dell’orale (ricordiamo che per la prova orale è sempre necessaria la presenza di DUE candidati).
La conferma d’iscrizione verrà inviata ad ogni singolo candidato, 10 giorni prima della data d’esame (per i candidati iscritti con le scuole, le conferme d’iscrizione vengono inviate agli insegnanti di riferimento).
Per gli esami Computer Based, la conferma d’iscrizione viene inviata circa gg prima della data d’esame.
Sulla conferma d’iscrizione sono riportati i giorni, gli orari e gli indirizzi delle sedi per le diverse prove.
No. Una volta effettuata l’iscrizione (che è sempre nominativa) non è possibile cambiare esame, sessione d’esame o trasferire la propria persona ad altre persone.
Se non vi presentate il giorno dell’esame per motivi di salute, è possibile ottenere un rimborso parziale, presentando un certificato medico entro 3 giorni lavorativi dalla data della prova d’esame non sostenuta. Non sono previsti altri tipi di rimborso.
Sul modulo di conferma iscrizione che viene inviato ad ogni singolo candidato, sono riportati uno username e password che possono essere utilizzate per registrarsi al sito https://candidates.cambrideenglish.org , dove – entro il giorno indicato – sarà possibile visionare il proprio risultato (statement of result). Fornendo la propria password e id alle organizzazioni o istituzioni che riconoscono gli esami Cambrige, sarà loro possibile verificare i risultati. I certificati arrivano circa 4 settimane dalla data d’esame per la versione Computer Based e circa 6 settimane per la versione paper based. I certificati NON vengono spediti per posta. Chi vuole, può richiedere al momento dell’iscrizione l’invio del proprio certificato per corriere al costo
aggiuntivo indicato sulle condizioni d’esame da sottoscrivere.
No. Nel caso degli esami in forma cartacea, tutto il materiale viene rispedito in Inghilterra per la correzione, e rimane proprietà di Cambridge: non può essere rilasciato né ai singoli candidati, né ai centri né agli insegnanti. Qualora si volesse richiedere un’ulteriore verifica del proprio risultato, vi preghiamo di contattare Anderson House per informazioni sulla procedura.
I certificati degli esami Cambridge non hanno una scadenza. Essi certificano che ad una determinata data il candidato possedeva una conoscenza dell’inglese di quel livello.
E’ possibile che alcune università o istituzioni chiedano un certificato non più vecchio di due anni: ciò è dovuto al fatto che se una lingua non viene utilizzata per un determinato periodo di tempo, il livello di conoscenza potrebbe variare; se avete proseguito con lo studio della lingua, il vostro livello potrebbe essere migliorato.
Fateci sapere quali sono le istituzioni che eventualmente non accettano i certificati Cambridge più vecchi di due anni. I certificati IELTS e TOEFL hanno invece una durata dichiarata di DUE anni.
